Approximately 10,000 alleged fentanyl tablets are seized by Grant County police during a drug investigation
Grant County, Indiana – Approximately 10,000 alleged fentanyl tablets were found by Grant County police on Wednesday during a drug investigation.
A narcotics investigation at 1008 S. Nebraska St. in Marion was carried out by Indiana State Police, Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Marion Police Department officers, and JEAN Team narcotics Task Force detectives, according to a press release. Officials requested two further search warrants at 724 S. Western Ave. and 917 W. 4th St. as a result of the investigation.
According to officials, Ryan T. McMullen Sr., 37, was taken into the Grant County Jail on nine different preliminary charges. These charges included possession of cocaine or narcotic drugs, dealing in methamphetamine, neglecting a dependent, and using a police radio unlawfully.
A Glock semi-automatic handgun, magazines, ammunition, and 3.4 grams of methamphetamine were found during the investigation, according to the police, in addition to the alleged fentanyl tablets.
Grant County had already placed McMullen Sr. on probation for having cocaine or other illegal drugs in his hands. According to a release, McMullen Sr. has a booking in Grant County Jail right now.

Dealing with cocaine or other narcotic drugs is the most serious accusation McMullen Sr. is facing; it is a Level 2 Felony in Indiana. In the Hoosier State, a Level 2 Felony carries a maximum term of 30 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
