Man stabbed for touching person’s hair without permission
Bloomington, Indiana – According to the police, a man was stabbed for inappropriately stroking someone’s hair.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, the incident began at ten o’clock on New Year’s Eve when the 32-year-old male allegedly asked Ryan Johnson, 36, whether he could stroke Johnson’s hair.
Johnson gave the man a no in return. Police said that despite this, the man admitted to touching Johnson’s hair.
After that, the men parted ways until they later ran into each other in an alley in the 200 block of South College Avenue. The victim claimed that once Johnson bumped into him, he instantly experienced abdominal agony. He noticed that he had been stabbed when he removed his shirt at that point.
The man then asked a passerby to call the police on his behalf. Officers were informed by the onlooker who made the 911 call that he had seen a man with a knife traveling east in the alley who fit the suspect’s description.
The security camera footage from the location as well as the pub where Johnson was seen on camera before the stabbing was examined by investigators. An employee of the establishment where Johnson was observed walking east in the alley soon before the stabbing recognized him.
After one week. Johnson was discovered in a car close to the corner of S. Madison Street and Country Club Drive. Officers pulled over the car, and Johnson was taken into custody for questioning before being transferred to the Monroe County Jail, where he is currently being held on the preliminary allegations listed below:
– attempted murder
– aggravated battery
– battery with a deadly weapon
