15 new deaths and over 1,000 new Covid-19 cases reported in Indiana, daily report
After almost two months, the state of Indiana reported over 1,000 cases in a single day in Tuesday’s daily Covid-19 report.
According to the report by the Indiana State Department of Health, the state added 1,085 new positive cases and 15 additional deaths.
The last time the state over 1,000 cases was on June 2.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of cases now reaches 767,409, while the total number of deaths is 13,552.
Currently, there are 735 people in hospital as a result of the virus. That is 50 increase since Monday.
A total of 5,840,826 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana. The number includes 2,930,719 individuals who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and are fully vaccinated.
The 7-day positivity rate is 6.3%.
