Shooting on Indianapolis’ south side critically wounds a man

Indianapolis, Indiana – A man was shot on Saturday morning on Indianapolis’ south side, seriously injuring him. The incident is under investigation by the police.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reports that shortly after 2:30 a.m., officers were summoned in response to a report of gunfire in the 3200 block of St. Paul Street.

Officers found an adult male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound when they arrived.

According to the police, he was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Nothing more was disclosed.
