84 Deaths from COVID-19 and 6,911 more coronavirus cases reported in Indiana in 2 weeks

Indiana – On Wednesday, the Indiana Department of Health updated the state’s coronavirus dashboard with new COVID-19 data.

Data was gathered up until Tuesday. Every Wednesday, the state’s dashboard is updated.

From 24,897 on February 28 to 24,981 on Tuesday, Indiana’s COVID-19 death toll increased. That is a rise of 84.

From 1,194 on February 28 to 1,198 on Tuesday, there were more likely deaths. A four-fold rise, then.

As of Tuesday, there were 2,054,533 COVID-19-positive cases, up from 2,047,622 on February 28. This is an increase of 6,911.

On Tuesday, the state had 270 visits to emergency rooms and 52 hospital admissions, which represents a seven-day average.

According to IDOH, as of Tuesday, 3,860,494 Hoosiers had finished the primary vaccine series. Around 55.5% of the population is represented by that.

Through Tuesday, the most recent booster shot has been administered to a total of 867,761 Hoosiers.

The Regenstrief Institute estimates that 1,806,236 Indiana residents have recovered from the infection.

According to the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering, there have been more than 676,609,000 confirmed cases worldwide, resulting in more than 6,881,000 fatalities.
