2 hospitalized following a crash in Boone County

Boone County, Indiana – After their cars crashed at a rural junction west of Jamestown, two persons were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, the two-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of West 750 South and 500 West at around 7:37 a.m.

When deputies arrived on the site, they reportedly discovered a severely damaged orange Jeep Wrangler and a Toyota truck in a field. It seemed like the pickup was lying on its side.

A Jamestown woman and a Lebanon man, according to the sheriff’s office, were discovered stuck inside the cars. Both drivers were extricated, then sent to a hospital to receive medical attention.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
