35,000 square feet of this highly desirable retailer will go to Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana – Customers of consumer electronics from Indianapolis won’t have to travel to Cincinnati or Chicago anymore.
At 5702 E. 86th Street, which is close to the intersection of 86th and Allisonville Road, Micro Center is opening its newest 35,000-square-foot retail space. The location is a former Gander Mountain store located in the Castle Glen Shopping Mall.
This will be the first and only location of the retailer in Indiana. “We are incredibly excited to bring Micro Center’s likely one and only location to Indianapolis,” said Keith W. Stark, the CEO of ConsortiumRE, the real estate company working with Micro Center.
A super regional commerce area with more than 100 million tourists annually, according to the corporation, is Castleton. According to the press release, it also has the state’s highest concentration of retail establishments.
According to a press release, “Micro Center is among the nation’s leading information technology, communications, and electronic device suppliers, with twenty-five large stores in major markets nationwide. Founded in 1979 in Columbus, Ohio, Micro Center has grown steadily and profitably. Our stores are designed to supply the needs of a wide variety of consumers – from small businesses to local schools – with well-trained associates who offer information technology solutions.”
Computers and consumer electronics are the focus of Micro Center. renowned for “make your own Computer” components, 3D printers, and top retailers’ goods like Samsung and Apple.
In late July or early August 2023, around the start of the new academic year, an opening date is planned.
