4,075 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths reported in Indiana
Indianapolis, Indiana – According to the Indiana Department of Health, 4,075 Hoosiers tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous week.
Also in the previous week, a total of 6 Hoosiers died, and one probable death was recorded. The state has recorded 23,563 deaths and 1,051 probable deaths for “All Time” from the coronavirus.
The “All Time” count for Indiana shows 1,915,905 Hoosiers have tested positive for the virus, and a total of 20,963,780 tests have been administered.
564 Hoosiers were hospitalized Sunday with COVID-19, the state said.
According to IDOH, 10,091,337 vaccine doses have been given through Sunday in Indiana.
A total of 3,826,606 Hoosiers were fully vaccinated through Sunday. That’s about 55% of the total population.
1,713,949 Hoosiers are estimated to have recovered from the virus, according to the Regenstrief Institute.
There have been more than 612,240,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 6,527,000 deaths, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
