$50,000 Powerball ticket purchased in Indiana
Indianapolis, Indiana — In the $700 million Powerball drawing on Saturday night, a Hoosier found some good fortune.
One ticket purchased at the Meijer in McCordsville, located at 6939 West Broadway, matched four out of the five numbers as well as the Powerball. The purchaser of such a combination wins $50,000.
the Powerball number is 10, and the winning numbers are 2-8-15-19-58.
The Powerball drawing is scheduled for February 6 and the jackpot has increased to $747 million.
In 1992, the Powerball lottery was launched. Fun fact: Indiana hosted the drawing for the first winning ticket.
