6 shootings across Indianapolis on Sunday
Indianapolis, Indiana — According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, on Sunday, seven people were shot in six separate shootings across Indianapolis.
According to IMPD, a person was shot and walked into Community Hospital North just bore 6 a.m. Sunday. The person was awake and breathing, according to police.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, IMPD confirms three people walked into a Community Hospital East at the same time. According to IMPD, the shootings of the three people are not related.
Another shooting happened around 1:25 a.m. Sunday on the city’s east side, police said.
Police found two people shot at an apartment complex near East 21st Street and North Post Road.
According to IMPD, one person was in critical condition and another person was awake and breathing.
A person was shot around 1 a.m. Sunday on the city’s west side IMPD said. IMPD found a person shot at a home near 30th Street and Moller Road. Police say the person was awake and breathing.
