6 victims, aged 14 to 21, shot in Anderson
Anderson, Indiana – According to the Anderson Police Department, six young individuals were shot in Anderson early on Sunday.
When five gunshots were heard at 2:24 a.m. in the 1600 block of Madison Avenue, officers were watching a very populated area. As they made their way through the mob, they discovered one victim who had been shot in the leg and started providing help.
The victim was sent in stable condition to a hospital in Indianapolis.
Five people checked themselves into nearby Anderson hospitals for treatment of gunshot wounds throughout the shooting investigation. The victims have all received care and been freed.
Ages of the victims, who are split equally between three men and three women, range from 14 to 21.
