New officers’ graduation held by the IMPD

Indianapolis, Indiana – There are 23 new policemen in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The probationary policemen completed their 28-week classroom training on Friday. They will now spend 20 weeks studying on the streets.
A member of the IMPD’s 26th recruit class, David Zerfas said, “We’re kind of paving the way.” “Many academies are adopting our strategy. I believe that choosing Indianapolis in particular was a wise decision given the high caliber of instruction I will receive at the school, the amount of experience I will gain rapidly, and the high standard.
Officers are still needed by the IMPD. Right now, the department is accepting applications.
