Gil Peri, president of Riley Children’s Health, leaves the company
Indianapolis, Indiana – Gil Peri, the president of Riley Children’s Health, is stepping down.
FOX59 and CBS4 were informed by an IU Health representative that Ryan Nagy will assume the role of Riley’s acting president. Riley Children’s Health representatives did not give a cause for Peri’s departure.
Peri reportedly started working at Riley Children’s Health in 2021, according to a news release. Peri was the chief operating officer of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford before to joining the Riley staff.
Peri has previously held positions at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.
Riley’s website states that Nagy has served as the IU Health Adult Academic Health Center (AAHC) president since 2016. In 2012, Nagy became an anesthesiologist with the AAHC.
During his tenure at IU Health, Nagy has held many positions, such as Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Anesthesiology. Nagy is still in active practice as an anesthesiologist, according to Riley’s website. The IU School of Medicine is where he received his medical degree.
