A suspect taken to custody after Anderson woman killed
Anderson, Indiana – After a lady was discovered deceased on Monday afternoon, the Anderson Police Department has opened a homicide investigation.
Officers were summoned to a residence in the 1600 block of Meridian Street just before 4 o’clock in response to an unidentified disturbance.
When the police arrived on the scene, the caller directed them to her mother’s body. The death was ruled a homicide by the investigators.
According to Anderson Police, a suspect has been taken into custody, and more information will be made public as it becomes available.
Once an autopsy is finished, the Madison County Coroner’s Office will decide the precise cause of death.
