Second shooting incident within two days on Indianapolis’ northeast side left a person in critical condition
Indianapolis, Indiana – A shooting incident on early Sunday morning in Indianapolis left one person suffering from serious wounds, prompting the police to conduct an investigation.
Officers were sent to the 1800 block of Ludlow Avenue, located close to the intersection of 18th Street and Massachusetts Avenue, after receiving reports of shots being fired, marking the second shooting incident taking place on the northeast side within two days. The previous shooting, in which an adult man was killed, took place early Saturday morning.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a person suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and was said to be in a critical condition.
Information on a motive in the shooting or regarding a suspect was not made public.
