One person killed after shooting on the city’s northeast side
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Saturday, a person was found dead after being shot on the northeast side of the city.
Officers were dispatched to the 7700 block of Newport Way after receiving a call about a person who had been shot, as stated by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
Officers located a victim who displayed symptoms that were consistent with having been shot.
On the spot, a medical examiner determined that the victim was deceased.
