Girl Scout Cookies roll out across Central Indiana
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana began distributing more than 1.5 million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies throughout the state on Wednesday morning.
On the west side of Indianapolis, three tractor-trailers with about 70,000 packages of cookies were unloaded. Sunday will be the final day when troop leaders will receive cookies.
The Girl Scouts will then get their cookie orders from the troop leaders and collect their bags of cookies. To 45 counties in Central Indiana, more than 1.5 million bags of cookies will be distributed.
Every box of Girl Scout cookies sold, according to the organization, helps girls learn, develop, and thrive through all of life’s experiences. Girl Scout Cookie seasons aid in the development of girls’ business acumen and self-assurance so they can take on the world one cookie at a time. All revenues are used to support year-round, life-changing activities, experiences, and education conducted by girls in your community.
