Man discovered dead at building site
Greenfield, Indiana – A body was found at a construction site on the west side of Greenfield, and police are now looking into it.
Around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, employees discovered a man deceased at the construction site on Windswept Road, according to the Greenfield Police Department.
According to a preliminary inquiry, the individual was the driver of the car that collided nearby shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday. During the original crash inquiry, the driver could not be found.
After the collision, the man was found around 600 yards from where the car had been abandoned. According to the agency, detectives found it unlikely that anyone could have seen the man from the road or the location of the abandoned car.
As of the publication of this article, the inquiry is still underway.
