Heartland Film grows and moves to new offices
Indianapolis, Indiana – Heartland Film has relocated to a larger office.
In addition to various year-round events, Heartland Film organizes the 11-day Heartland International Film Festival in Indianapolis in October and the Indy Shorts International Film Festival in July.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at The Sterrett Center on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., and the general public is welcome. On the Fort Ben Cultural Campus, the center may be found at 8905 Otis Avenue.
Due to bad weather, the ceremony that was scheduled for January 25 was postponed.
“We are ready to get back in an office space,” Jessica Chapman, director of marketing for the organization, said. “We’ve worked from home for the past three years!”
The nonprofit made necessary renovations to the structure. “The Sterrett Center is the perfect space for Heartland Film to live out our vision to be the preeminent destination for connecting audiences and filmmakers to experience transformative film,” said Heartland Film President Michael Ault. “The Fort Ben Cultural Campus is where art and community meet.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will also aid in raising money for extra requirements like a new projector, sound system, and other improvements.
Following the ceremony, there will be an open house with refreshments, canapés, live music, and guided tours.
