Single-vehicle crash in Carroll County left one dead and three injured
Carroll County, Indiana – Following a single-vehicle collision in Carroll County, one person has passed away and three more have been hurt.
At 5:30 p.m. on Sunday night, County Road 500 South close to Cutler received a call from emergency services reporting a single-vehicle collision.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reported that when first responders arrived, they discovered three injured passengers outside of a 2007 white Dodge Ram pickup vehicle. A fourth person was also discovered inside the car, and they were both declared dead there.
After leaving the 50 E. area, the vehicle was moving westbound on County Road 500 South.
How the truck veered off the north side of the road is currently a mystery. At least one passenger was ejected when the truck left the road and smashed into a tree line.
An air ambulance was used to transport one of the passengers to a hospital in Fort Wayne. Also, the driver and another passenger were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Four passengers have been confirmed as being all adults.
