Another nine people died from the flu in Indiana
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Department of Health has announced that there have been another nine deaths in the state caused by the flu.
The Indiana Department of Health said on Friday that there had been 176 deaths related to the flu so far this season.
The killings that were discovered during this week’s investigation took place as far back as the end of December.
It is now the 11th county in the state to have at least 5 deaths related to the flu so far. Johnson County is one of those counties.
This season’s tally of 176 deaths is the second-highest number in the state since 2015-16, with the 336 deaths recorded in 2017-18 being the highest total in the state since 2015-16.
As of right now, the CDC classifies the flu activity in Indiana as “limited.”
