Congratulations to the MCCSC recipients on receiving the Outstanding Black Leader of Tomorrow Award
Bloomington, Indiana – Congrats to the awardees of the City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Black Boys 2024 Distinguished Black Leader of Future Award from the Monroe County Community Education Corporation.
Those students are:
Sydney Crossley, Sophomore at Bloomington High School South
D’Andre Black, Junior at Bloomington High School South
Andrew McKenzie, P.E. Teacher at Fairview Elementary School
The Commission understands the significance of recognizing the great leadership, scholarship, and commitment of young African American men and women in our community in making real, noticeable, and significant contributions to the Bloomington community.
At the Black History Month Gala, which was held on Saturday, February 25, at Woolery Mill in Bloomington, the winners were recognized.
