With its xZOOberance celebration, the Indianapolis Zoo welcomes spring
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Zoo’s annual xZOOberance festival, which will feature live musical performances, dancers, activities, artwork, and animal interactions, is kicking off the spring season.
The activities take place from noon to 4 p.m., starting on March 23 and lasting until April 16. Select performances by Cathy Morris, Circle City Bucket Drummers, Kid Kazooey, and other artists are included in the 16-day musical schedule.
Family can participate in spring photo ops, practice yoga inspired by animals, sing along at karaoke, and get close interactions with animals like goats and chicks. Younger children can engage in spring-themed crafts, storytime, games, and bee dance instruction, among other things.
The Zoo will also feature a special spring-themed menu featuring burgers, brats, hand-dipped rice crispy delights, different spring cake pops, pulled pork, house-made kettle-cooked chips, and a range of other choices. Craft beer and beverages will be available for adults.
For zoo members, the xZOOberance experience is free, and for non-members, it will be covered by standard entry prices. In 1200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222, you may find the Indianapolis Zoo.
