Donate blood to be eligible to win $3K
Westfield, Indiana – The American Red Cross reminds people that people still need blood as the seasons change.
This month, the risk of low blood levels remains. Blood donors are essential to the Red Cross’ ability to prevent a scarcity of blood in the coming weeks.
All blood donors are urged to schedule and keep appointments, especially type O donors and platelet donors. Visit RedCrossBlood.org, get the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or dial 1-800-RED CROSS to schedule a donation appointment.
The Red Cross will lend a hand this month when contributors lend an arm.
Everyone who donates blood, platelets, or plasma between March 1 and 31 will get an email with a $10 Visa Prepaid Card. Also, they will be automatically entered to win a $3,000 Visa Prepaid Card, which they may use to pay for things like gas or groceries. There are five fortunate winners. You can find more information at rcblood.org/help.
