The Indianapolis Zoo’s xZOOberance Spring Festival heralds the arrival of spring
Indianapolis, Indiana – The annual xZOOberance Festival at the Indianapolis Zoo marked the arrival of spring.
Cody Mattox, the zoo’s spokesperson, said, “The Bicentennial Pavilion will be buzzing with energy from live entertainment on the main stage. Our younger guests can explore the spring-centric activities. Inside the Busy Bee, they can express their creativity with spring-themed crafts and make colorful enrichment items for the Zoo’s animals to enjoy.
In order to learn about the significance of pollinators, Mattox said visitors will also have the opportunity to meet Polly Pollen and her sister, Honey. They can also “enjoy story time, learn the bee dance, and try their hand at the pollen toss game.”
Photographic opportunities and personal experiences with animals, such as goats and hens, are additional activities.
The Spring Festival is open from noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday through April 16.
