On Indianapolis’ south side, a person was shot and seriously injured
Indianapolis, Indiana – A person was shot on the city’s south side and is in serious condition, and Indianapolis Metro police are looking into the incident.
According to IMPD, police were summoned to the 3400 block of Meridian Street at at 3:05 p.m. on Friday for a person who had been shot.
The vicinity of Meridian and W. Sumner Avenue is where this residential area is located.
IMPD reported that when officers arrived, they discovered a victim of a gunshot wound. By 3:30 p.m., IMPD reported the person to be in critical condition.
The victim’s condition was upgraded to “very critical” around 3:50 p.m., according to IMPD.
