Almost 400 summer positions available at Indianapolis Parks
Indianapolis, Indiana – Mayor Joe Hogsett announced over 400 jobs opening this summer and sign-on incentives alongside Indianapolis Parks Director Phyllis Boyd, Councilman William Oliver, and Indy Parks workers.
Lifeguards start at $15 per hour at Indy Parks, which boasts a generous pay range of $13 to $18.75. A $500 early bird sign-on bonus is available to new summer employees who apply, finish all required training before April 7, and work 100 hours.
Once they have finished the required training and put in 100 hours, new seasonal workers will be qualified for a $250 incentive.
“To any young people looking for summer work, or to anyone looking to start a career in recreation – there has literally never been a better time than now to apply to Indy Parks. They are in demand and receiving historic levels of investment.”
For open positions including lifeguards, camp counselors, food program coordinators, cashiers, facility attendants, stage technicians, and more, Indy Parks encourages those 16 and older to apply.
