Due to a bridge repair project, State Road 58 will be closed
Spraytown, Indiana – On Thursday, April 20, State Road 58 across Branch Runt Run will be closed by Indianapolis Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors, LP.
The bridge replacement project in Jackson County is closing. Near Spraytown, the bridge is situated 2.28 miles east of State Road 258.
The closing might take up to 90 days, according to the officials.
The $2.7 million contract also includes the following two projects:
• Small structure replacement, 1.95 miles west of I-65 in Bartholomew County, which is anticipated to be complete by the end of April 2023.
• Superstructure replacement project in Jackson County, 0.84 miles east of State Road 258 at Runt Run, which is anticipated to begin in July 2023.
State Road 258 leads to State Road 11, and then I-65 is the approved diversion route.
