The Delta variant still keeps the daily numbers on a decent high level while the ICU beds across the country lowers across Indiana.
According to the latest daily report, Indiana added 4,800 new Covid-19 cases and 28 reported deaths on Wednesday.
With the latest numbers, the total number since the start of the pandemic reached 863,299 positive cases and 14,078 confirmed deaths in Indiana.
Currently, there are 2,294 people hospitalized and treated as a result of the virus. Although this number is a slight decrease since Tuesday, the number of hospitalizations is still pretty high.

The 7-day positivity rate across Indiana is 11.2%, which is close to the US average currently.
Around 20% of the ICU beds are currently available in hospitals across the state.
