A yearly golf excursion and fundraiser is being organized by the Light For Levi Foundation

Indianapolis, Indiana – The third annual golf tournament and fundraiser for the Light For Levi Foundation is scheduled for this coming week. “Unite the light” is the foundation’s motto.
The foundation was established in 2021 as a result of the Zionsville toddler’s life-saving battle that attracted worldwide attention and prayers. Two-year-old Levi Chisholm sustained a brain injury after falling in a pool in November 2020. Since Levi lived, the Light for Levi Foundation has raised funds to support other families in similar circumstances.
People are urged to support the cause by participating in unique fundraising events on Thursday and Friday.
The foundation’s Facebook page states that a Welcome Reception Dinner and Event will take place at Wahlburgers in Carmel on Thursday starting at 6 p.m. Dinner and live music by Matt Record will be served at the event, which will include celebrity chef Paul Wahlberg.
The $50 cost of dinner tickets is payable on the day of the event. Under-21s are admitted free of charge.
On Friday, the Light for Levi golf event will take place at Eagle Creek Golf Club, located in Indianapolis at 8802 W. 56th St. Sponsorships for holes are also offered.
The foundation says benefits to being a hole sponsor include “a logo at the hole, social media highlights, logo at the event, two free tickets to the Whalburgers welcome reception event, and a window decal.”
Becoming a hole sponsor is $500. According to the charity, a family with a child who has experienced a brain injury can get one scholarship for every seven-hole sponsor.
As per the foundation’s statement, forty,700 of the $100,000 target for this year has already been funded.
All earnings will support the scholarship program of the 2024 Light For Levi Foundation, which assists families whose children have suffered brain injuries. Every month, two families are randomly selected to receive $3,500. In the future, the charity wants to continue to support additional families by expanding its effect and maintaining the scholarship program.
The public can now participate in a silent auction that is open to those who are unable to attend the events. Much can be transported within the United States.
By making a donation on the Light For Levi organization page or by sharing the page on social media, people may also aid the organization in reaching its objective.
The foundation said: “If you are considering donating, we are asking for a donation of $13 in honor of Levi, and if you want to share tag us and use hashtag #13forLevi. Levi was born on 1/13/2019 and 13 has been his number.”
