After a single-vehicle collision close to Madison Avenue, one person died

Indianapolis, Indiana – Following a single-vehicle collision on the city’s southside on Saturday afternoon, one individual is dead.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department sent out a report of a fatal accident near the 1300 block of Madison Avenue at 2:07 p.m. on Saturday. Officers discovered a deceased person at the scene when they got there.

Officials investigating the accident determined it involved just one car and one person. The car, which was traveling south, veered off the road and collided with some fencing or a pole.

No information about the driver’s name or the cause of the collision was released by officials right away.
