After a three-month meth investigation, Indiana State Police make two arrests
Indianapolis, Indiana – Two persons have been taken into custody by Indiana State Police after a three-month narcotics investigation in Spencer County.
According to state police, 32-year-old Justine S. Hayden and 36-year-old Austin R. Adkisson were brought to Spencer County Jail on many felony narcotics charges.
Adkisson was a passenger in a car that police stopped for traffic last Wednesday. He was apprehended without any problems. Following the traffic stop, the officers proceeded to Hayden’s Christney residence.
Officers got a search warrant of Christney’s house and seized roughly 103 grams of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and a prohibited substance. Hayden was taken into custody.
Adkisson and Hayden are accused of the following offenses:
• Dealing in Methamphetamine over 10 grams – Level 2 Felony
• Possession of Methamphetamine over 28 grams – Level 3 Felony
• Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6 Felony
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class A Misdemeanor
• Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
• Possession of Paraphernalia – Class C Misdemeanor
• Warrant: Dealing in Methamphetamine over 10 Grams – Level 2 Felony (1 Count)
