After the Colts 5K race, a couple gets engaged at Lucas Oil Stadium

Indianapolis, Indiana – This young Indiana couple experienced a day to remember after being engaged unexpectedly at Lucas Oil Stadium’s 50-yard line.

Luke Watson claimed that he had been preparing to ask Rachel Glover to marry him for several weeks. But she was unaware that it was going to happen so quickly.

“It was insane,” she said. “I was not expecting it at all.”

Glover proposed to Watson just before the finish line of the 11th Annual Colts 5K when they were both competing in the race.

“I was like there is no better place than the Colts 50-yard line,” Watson said.

The couple, who both support the Colts, first connected while attending Indiana Wesleyan University.

“We are going to be watching Colts’ games all fall, and for the next however many years now,” she said.

The ceremony is scheduled for next summer.
