Amazing number of Hoosiers aged 65-69 made an Covid-19 vaccine appointment
The Indiana State Department of Health on Tuesday morning announced that approximately 130,000 residents aged 65-69 had scheduled a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, which is around 36 percent of individuals in that age group
Vaccination appointments were opened up for this age group on Monday, and many of them made same-day appointment.
This is an incredible number and indicates just how high the request is.
Indiana State Department of Health representative said that the goal is to get as many people vaccinated as possible, especially because more than 90 percent of COVID-19 deaths are from this age group.
