Anthony Richardson will not play for the Colts

Indianapolis, Indiana – Anthony Richardson, the Colts’ starting quarterback, will not play against the Texans.
Against the Houston Texans in the first half, the rookie entered the concussion protocol. Richardson briefly entered the blue injury tent before being transported to the locker room, where he was declared ineligible to continue playing by the medical staff.
In the first quarter, Richardson scored two rushing touchdowns (18 and 15 yards). For 56 yards, he completed 6 of 10 passes.
The fourth-overall pick in this year’s draft by the Colts departed the game in the dying seconds of last week’s 31-21 loss to the Jaguars with a damaged knee.
