At the northwest side commercial complex off of High School Road, three persons were shot, one of them fatally

Indianapolis, Indiana – According to authorities, there was a shooting at a shopping center on Indianapolis’ northwest side that left one man dead and two others hospitalized.
The male’s identity and age have not yet been disclosed. The other two injured, a man and a woman, were transported in critical and serious condition to a hospital.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 3900 block of North High School Road at 3:32 a.m. on Sunday in order to look into an incomplete 911 call. There are a few small companies, a Dollar General, and a retail complex with eateries.
When the police arrived, they discovered two men who had been shot. They were transferred to a hospital in critical condition, but one of the men passed away soon after.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 7100 block of Rockville Road later, at around 3:37 a.m. That is roughly ten minutes southwest of the airport-proximate scene on North High School Road.
A female with a gunshot wound was discovered by the police when they arrived. She was brought to a hospital in critical shape.
The two incidents, in the opinion of the investigators, are related, and they are currently gathering more data.
