Bedford, Mitchell pools now accepting applications for lifeguards for upcoming season

Lawrence County, Indiana – During the upcoming swimming season, the John Lowery Municipal Pool in Bedford and the Mitchell City Pool are both looking for qualified applicants to fill the position of a lifeguard.

The deadline for submission of applications is April 26th, 2023. Applicants have to be at least 15 years old and either already certified by the American Red Cross or in the process of getting certified by the organization.
Mitchell
The Mitchell City Pool is looking for someone to work in both the concessions area and as a lifeguard. There will be copies of the application available to pick up at the Mitchell and Orleans school offices, in addition to the Mitchell City Hall. The applications need to be postmarked no later than April 14. The minimum age requirement for applicants is 15 years old.
