Bloomington Man Injured After Crashing Car Into Tree
(BEDFORD) – A Bloomington man was injured after he crashed his 2010 Ford Focus into a tree on Coveyville Road Friday afternoon.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies were alerted to the crash at 4:10 p.m.
According to police, 23-year-old John Mullis was traveling southbound on Coveyville Road and negotiating a curve when he encountered an unknown vehicle in the middle of the roadway.
Mullis’ vehicle went off the roadway, struck a tree and landed on its roof.
Mullis was unconscious when he was removed from the wreckage.
Mullis suffered minor bleeding to his face and was transported to IU Health Bloomington for treatment.
