Bridge work to cause closure of 96th Street near I-465 next week
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that 96th Street under I-465 on the north side will be closed next week for bridge work.
The closure will begin at 11 p.m. on Monday, March 20, and last until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, for milling.
Following this, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 21, crews will begin a resurfacing project, with traffic flow being managed by flaggers.
Access to Robison Road from the west and Hoosier Village Drive from the east will be maintained.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution, slow down, and watch out for workers in the vicinity of the work zones.
