Indianapolis, Indiana – A fisherman discovered an automobile in the White River on Saturday afternoon, and authorities are now working to recover it.
Using a sonar device, a riverside fisherman located the car and alerted the Indianapolis Fire Department to his finding. On Saturday afternoon, just after 3 p.m., IFD responded close to Broad Ripple Park, which is situated at 1500 Broad Ripple Avenue.
Upon arrival, a dive operation was carried out to locate the vehicle precisely.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has been given the responsibility of retrieving the car from the water, according to IFD. The inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the discovery has also been taken over by IMPD.
