Celebrate “President’s Day 2023” at these events happening around Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana – On Monday, February 20, a number of organizations and companies in Indianapolis will celebrate President’s Day.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
To honor President’s Day this year, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is providing free track tours with the purchase of general admission tickets.
A “Kiss the Bricks” tour, which includes a trip around the storied track and a stop at the Yard of Bricks, is available to tourists.
Normally $10 each, these trips are now free for the duration of the federal holiday.
Admission to the museum is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors, and free for children under the age of six.
The hours of operation for the museum are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations for tickets must be made online in advance at imsmuseum.org/event/freetours. The address of the museum is 4750 W. 16 St.
Spend Presidents’ Day at the home of Indiana’s only president
Visit Benjamin Harrison’s house, the sole presidential residence in Indiana, for the day.
From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., the Presidential Site will hold “Live! President’s Day.” Live actors who portray the year 1891, when Harrison was serving as president in the second year of his administration, are included in the exchanges.
Throughout the presentation, visitors can take a tour of the 23rd president’s Italianate Victorian residence from 1874.
Every hour from 10 am to 3 pm, tours are given. There must be reservations. The location is at 1230 North Delaware Street.
Free admission at Conner Prairie
Visitors can interact with former presidents and first wives to learn about the history of the presidency.
All President’s Day-related activities will take place inside the venue’s welcome center. The events run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN, is the location.
