Bargersville, Indiana – The Peters family opened Coffeehouse Five in 2014 in Greenwood. The organization, which is non-profit, offers mental health services, such as individual therapy and marriage counseling.

All of the meals and coffee are prepared on-site using traditional family recipes. The proceeds from the sale of food and beverages are immediately reinvested in the free provision of such services.

With its new location in Bargersville, Coffeehouse Five now has a second way to connect with the neighborhood.

Additionally, it’s the first store with a patio outside. According to Peters, this has been a dream for almost ten years.

“What this does, with every location we add, it adds to that revenue stream to be able to help people. To be able to provide mental health services to people. There are so many people in need with respect to mental health services and every additional dollar we can generate is an additional dollar we can put towards helping people,” Peters said.

Wednesday morning’s ribbon-cutting ceremony served as the store’s official opening. In addition to Greenwood, Franklin, and Bargersville, Coffeeshop Five now has locations. They are open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
