Community Health Network begins construction on a Pendleton facility
Pendleton, Indiana – According to Community Health Network, construction on a Pendleton facility that will house primary care services as well as an urgent care facility began on Friday.
The pavilion will be situated at the southeast corner of I-69 and State Road 38, at 200 Enterprise Drive. The 25,000-square-foot, one-story medical office building will feature imaging and lab facilities in addition to primary care offices and a MedCheck.
According to a Community Health news release, the area’s first urgent care facility will open soon.
The second quarter of 2025 is when the pavilion is expected to open. When the new location opens, Community says its current Pendleton primary care offices will relocate there.
Leaders in business and local government attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Based on projections, Pendleton, a city in Madison County, has 5,200 residents, with an additional 460 since 2020. The distance between the city and downtown Indianapolis is roughly 45 minutes by car.
The community announced new primary care practices in Kokomo and Carmel earlier this year, as well as a new hospital and health care center in Westfield earlier this month.
