Conner Prairie temporarily suspends operations inside due to construction
Fishers, Indiana – Fans of Conner Prairie might have to wait a few months to take advantage of some of the well-liked interior experiences at the museum.
On November 20, the museum made the announcement that Conner Prairie’s indoor experiences would be closed starting on Monday in order to build the new Museum Experience Center.
While their original locations are under construction, the Spark!Lab, Anything Can Happen Art, and Discovery Station will be temporarily moved. According to the museum, Featherstone Barn will host a few Discovery Station exhibits beginning on January 18.
In addition, all outdoor experiences will return on January 18th in conjunction with the museum’s Winter on the Prairie exhibition. These attractions will be open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A Merry Prairie Holiday, Breakfast with Santa, and membership sales will take place in the museum’s Welcome Center starting on Monday. All winter programs are free of charge for museum members.
When the time draws nearer, Conner Prairie is anticipated to provide additional details about its unique winter activities.
