Flags should be flown at half staff, according to Holcomb
Indianapolis, Indiana – In remembrance of the late Rosalynn Carter, the former First Lady of the United States, Governor Eric Holcomb is urging citizens and businesses in the state of Indiana to lower their flags this weekend.
All flags are to fly at half-staff for five days, starting on Saturday and ending on Wednesday, per orders from President Joe Biden.
Jimmy Carter’s former wife, Rosalynn Carter, passed away on Sunday at the age of ninety-six. Jimmy Carter, 99, is still receiving hospice care at home. In June, the couple commemorated their 77-year wedding anniversary.
Four children, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren remain of Rosalynn.
