Indianapolis, Indiana – A musician who recently gave a performance in Central Indiana is appealing to the general public for assistance after it was claimed that her guitar was taken from outside of a hotel in the downtown area of Indianapolis.

Lisa Loeb, a singer-songwriter who has won a Grammy Award, took to social media early on Wednesday morning to report that her guitar had been taken from the neighborhood of the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday afternoon.

A complaint filed with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department indicates that the theft was reported at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, following the theft that occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on that same day. Around $4,000 is the estimated value of the acoustic guitar.

On Monday evening, Loeb gave a concert at Hendricks Live, which is a venue for live performances located in Plainfield. Despite the fact that she was not signed to a recording deal, Loeb became the first pop musician to have a single that reached number one on the charts. Loeb is also an actor and a radio host.

The guitar was identified by Loeb as a Taylor 512-C (No. 9765) with gold tuners, as stated in a post that she made on her X account, which was formerly more commonly known as Twitter. A pink and red soft case is used to protect the guitar.

In the event that persons possess any information regarding the location of the guitar, they are kindly requested to send an email to the [email protected] address of Loeb’s team.
