Free Camp will be offered by IU Health Bloomington Good Grief to assist kids in coping with loss

Bloomington, Indiana – The passing of a loved one may be a trying experience for everyone. Children aged 6 to 16 who have suffered the loss of a loved one are welcome to attend Camp Good Grief in Bloomington, where they will be guided through the process of coming to terms with their feelings, emotions, and thoughts.

Campers will develop positive coping skills, learn how to preserve memories of loved ones and connect with others who are going through a similar experience through the use of art, music, and play. Camp Good Grief will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 9 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. at the Indiana University Hilltop Garden and Nature Center, which can be found at 2367 E. 10th St. in Bloomington.

In order to sign up, please fill out the form that can be found at cggbloomington2023.eventbrite.com. Free of charge, however only the first 35 campers will be allowed to participate.
