Gas leak causes evacuations in Brownsburg
Brownsburg, Indiana – According to police, there was a gas leak and evacuations were temporarily ordered along a business section of Northfield Drive. Emergency personnel arrived to the scene.
The gas leak caused a temporary closure of West Northfield Drive between Walmart and Kohl’s, according to the Brownsburg Police Department.
Police stated that there was a gas leak and that people were evacuated; however, they did not specify whether or not nearby firms like Walmart were among those affected.
Police declared the area safe and reopened Northfield Drive around twenty minutes later.
