Gunfire hits a nursing home on the south side
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Sunday morning, several shots were fired into a nursing facility on the south side of Indianapolis.
Around 10:26 a.m., IMPD officers were called to The Waters of Indianapolis, a nursing facility situated at 3895 S. Keystone Ave., for shots fired run.
Although the number of shots that were actually fired into the nursing home is unknown, an IMPD police report notes numerous instances of damage. According to the police report, the bullets damaged at least one window and one row of cabinets.
No injuries brought on by the gunshot are mentioned in the report. Additionally, it is unknown what kind of firearm was used in the incident or how many shot casings were found nearby.
No other details were available right away. The Waters of Indianapolis chose not to respond to inquiries about the incident.
