IDOH Reports 863 New COVID-19 Cases, 16 More Confirmed Deaths
The Indiana Dept. of Health reported 863 new COVID-19 cases and 16 additional confirmed deaths Wednesday, bringing the state totals to 669,164 cases and 12,350 confirmed deaths.
The state’s seven-day all-test positivity rate remains at 3.1%, where it has been for the past few days.
In Monroe County, the state reported just 22 new cases and zero additional deaths, bringing the county totals to 10,474 cases and 164 confirmed deaths. The local seven-day all-test positivity rate is 0.4%, which remains the lowest rate since the start of the pandemic.
Statewide, there were 24,232 new first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered and 20,145 Hoosiers who became fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours. In total, more than 1.1 million Hoosiers have received a first dose and more than 744,000 are now fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, 23,555 people have received a first dose and 15,051 people are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
